The year 1834 building in Kuching.
On the morning of Eid-Ul-Fitri also known as Hari Raya in Malaysia,Muslim throughout the world perform Eid-Ul-Fitri prayer. This year I decided to peform my prayer at Masjid Bandar Kuching also known as Masjid India.
I met a group of Bangladeshi foreign Muslim workers .
More than half of the foreign workers are believed to be working legally or illegally in Malaysia.
I greet them with Salam and Eid-Ul-Fitri greeting.
"This Eid-Ul-Fitri did you miss your family ? "
"I miss my family,I miss my country and I miss my land".
I prefer to buy curry paste from this stall 'Curry Hj Saad' very popular since 70's until to-day & the 2nd photo 'The traffic Jam'.

It's been a while since my last street photography,The last outing was a simple photo coverage of day one at Ramadhan bazaar in Jalan Stutong. This time I decided to try something else.I parked my car at parking lot in padang pasir(field with sand)but I did not see any sand there hehehe....From there I walk from masjid bandar Kuching to Jalan Gambier & India street mall. You know I still prefer to shop here..I'm a man who keep my word" spend wisely during festival".To-day (Friday) the traffic from Satok to Gambier Road was busy and jam all the way..What about to-morrow(Saturday)..don't worry I'm around to cover the story.

Paying the zakat or tithe is one of the tenets in the Pillar of Islam, where every Muslims are obligated to pay during the month of Ramadhan.
Soon after I snapped the portrait photo..the young boy whispered "I'm in the Utusan Sarawak(local malay edition newspaper) to-morrow".
Well...that all for Friday street shot..It was nice walk .

I recently study that GO & SEE Kuching City life is as early as morning from 07:00AM.Kuching City is a day city.Night life is just so boring(not telling about night-club,disco and pub) the shops around main bazaars and India street mall will close around 06:00PM.
Since Kuching City rapidly developing into a tourist destination one can find of hotels in Kuching at a very reasonable rate.
For the backpackers maybe this is one of the best accommodation with reasonable rate.
Try to find some good backpackers hut or hotels and you will find a good one that suits your budget.
