To-day is the fifth day of Ramadhan .I would wish a happy Ramadhan al-Mubarak to all my friends.
Surely one can't ignore the one event that goes along with this month Ramadhan in Malaysia. The Ramadhan Bazaar which sale and offer many kinds of FOOD and some event call its Ramadhan Food. Some Muslim in Malaysia goes topsy-turvy in month of Ramadhan. The entire month of Ramadhan revolves around FOOD.They spend the entire day planning, cooking, shopping and thinking about only FOOD,instead of concentrating on Ibaadah(perform religious obligations). All they can think is FOOD.So much so that they turn the month of "FASTING" into the month of "FEASTING".
Some are missing the purpose of FASTING,and thus increase in their greed and desires instead of leaning to control them.It is also a kind of waste and extravagance and we should think of the suffering of the poor and hungry in some parts of the world.
May GOD bless you all and Salam Satu Malaysia to all Malaysian.Thank You.
This week I thought I would take you on a short walking tour on the street of our Malaysia capital city,KUALA LUMPUR.I found that walking from one place to another place or to subway is not very pedestrian friendly but it was interesting watching the crowd of small groups here and there and some families too.
Another attraction if you walk in the street of Kuala Lumpur is the presence of graffiti on some walls. There are quite a lot of graffiti in the street of Kuala Lumpur and here are few that I saw (picture above).Maybe it reflect the current social issues in Malaysia.
What strike the eye is that Kuala Lumpur the street themselve are fairly clean, but many sidewalk and building are damaged and you can see some beautiful colonial building too.
After few hours of stroll around the street, why not join this guy here for lunch at mamak old restaurant and try Malaysian icon nasi lemak, nasi kandar and teh tarik.
See you again next week on My World Tuesday and to tour other World kindly visit this home page MY WORLD TUESDAY

I am a Malaysian so let's talk about the flag of Malaysia, also known as the Jalur Gemilang (stripes of glory). It comprises a field of 14 alternating red and white stripes along the fly.The blue canton bearing crescent and a 14 point star known as federal star.
The 14 stripes,of equal width represent of the 13 members state(pic above). In conjunction with the 52nd Independence celebration this coming 31 August 2009.The fly Malaysia flag campaign was launch by our Prime Minister on 12th August 2009.As such,he wished to see every houses, shop, commercial and government building and vehicle to fly the national flag,Jalur Gemilang.
