I love both colour and monochrome.The coloured photo has its own artistic side,look at the picture above two people with classic uniform they are not the Police Officer.

This people are from Land Survey Department and are participating in a event celebrated in Kuching last year 2008.I try a monochrome conversion to the picture above as the uniform wear by the two peoples look classic to me.PA250073-1

I can see another beauty in monochrome and as I say monochrome and colour has its own attraction.

A twin set of minaret an ancient mosque in Sibu.An unique wooden (belian) roof distinguishes the Sibu oldest mosque(BEFORE).

Repairing our roads is very important.Due to non-stop rain for the past few days,the damaged to our city road is everywhere.Look at our city council man like Bujang they are busy repairing the road.The maintenance need to be done urgently to avoid accident to road user.

Sarikin Border Market is an area of the Sarikin Bidayuh Village about 20 kilometers from Bau Town Sarawak.The market is open to Indonesian Vendors on Saturday to Sunday from early morning until nearly noon on Sunday as the Indonesian have to be at check points by 02:00pm.
The border market offered products are fabric,batik in the Indonesian design,the handicraft of the Indonesian athnic such as bamboo mat .

I have a confession on colour and gray scale.
Well, I don't shoot in black and white.I know my DLSR Olympus e-410 can shoot in black & white that ok.
I prefer to shoot in colour and remove the colour anyway.Above photos is an example, I shoot at the mountain temple in Kuching.Compare the colour and grayscale version.

This morning,I bought some bun from street vendor for my breakfast.The vendor owner is Mr Mutu ,a very friendly man.I took the opportunity to greet him "Happy Dewali " and I ask him How is your business ? the answer is ..well my business is very slow lately.
Let's be honest,many of us pay very little attention to street vendor like Mr.Mutu and some people are often not interested in their merchandise.
Mr Mutu say "Well,that's what great about our country,you have a choice,you can buy from street vendor like me or you can walk away.
