Street Shot-City&SubUrban Transportation.

Buses is the main mode of public transportation in the city of Kuching, whereby kereta sewa(hired van-picture above) will cover suburban areas and cover as far corners of the city which have no buses services.I would say its convenient and also does not follow a set schedule like the city buses do,nor does it need a bus stop to get you on or off.You can hall.stop, and get on or off it everywhere you want along its route.Kereta sewa have yellow colour coded on the roof top of the van.
Kuching definetly needs a more modern, comfortable, and well regulated mode of public transportation.

uncleawang,
Public transport is indeed important to people who don't have other mean to move around, counting out the walking. But I they are decreasing in number. You see, bikes can be bought quite cheap nowadays. You got RM7k in your disposal, perhaps a RX-Z or 135LC is a good choice. But if you have like RM1.5k, second-hand kapchai doesn't sounds to shabby, does it? :)
But I think Sarawak is one of the places in Malaysia that have highest annual visitors. So such transport can be quite vital.

Akmal,
Thanks you and I agree with you but in view of high fuel price I prefer kapchai(Honda ex5).My son bought Yamaha Ego..this machine not economy at all.everything expensive(makan duit).Do you realise that our city bus have no aircon?.
