F1 Fever...........
While our capital city of Malaysia ,KUALA LUMPUR is promoting F1 in Sepang and perhaps it's F1 fever now in Malaysia. So what choice do Kuching people have?
Well, GO-KART race is just fine & it's fun too .I still remember one state minister promise the peoples and to the youth that the government is going to build a international standard motor race circuit in Kuching .So peoples just forget it ...so what his next promise....?
Because I have been preoccupied lately taking care of a family member I have not been able to get out and take as many photos as I would like, so today I have to feature a photo from my last walk about in Kuching City.
Practice my panning shoot ..with slow shutter speed & its work alright to me but I don't know what my photography friends say.
I do not use a lot of Photoshop manipulations, One reason is I have not learned how to do it. I do try things every now and then. I do color adjust, sometimes crop, saturate if needed, use curves and sharpen. I will take out some detracting things that just could not be helped to keep out of my shot. That does not happen that much but sometimes it is just unavoidable. Do you think all the pictures that you see in magazines, on gallery walls have not had things cleaned up in them ???.
This Go-Kart maybe to old for me to drive but not to old for me to try as sport photographer :)
Thank You.

My World Tuesday-Visit Matang Wildlife Centre.
Visiting Matang Wild life Centre .It was fun, exciting,a little tiring, and all turns out good.OK nice place to visit I must say..
The park is about 36km from Kuching City proper and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the centre.Since there is no regular bus schedule within the area, hiring a taxi is recommended.Alternatively, you may contact any trevel operater who offers packaged tours.
On my rip to this centre my activities is treks and trials that is Animal Enclosure Trial.
This is the main trial at the centre, which goes past all the animal enclosures. It take 45 minutes to 1 hour to walk the trial, depending on much time youspend looking at the animals. The trial passes through beautiful secondary forest, where it is possible to see divers palms.A good selection of native animals are on display.Highlights include the orang-utans,sun bears, the rhinoceros hornbill, crocodiles.civet cats, wetland birds and porcupines.
For visitors who wish to stay overnight early booking of chalet and long house lodge is recommended.
This is a place where visitors can do recreational activities which promote good health such as walking nature trial, swiming and picnicking.

Chief Minister Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said yesterday he would look at the overall budget before deciding to build the track.
“The matter has been brought up and I will have to look at the overall budget in the 10th Malaysia Plan for the permanent track,” Taib told reporters here.
He had earlier presented prizes to winners of the Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship held at Stadium Negeri.
Social Development and Urbanisation Minister Dato Sri William Mawan, Tourism Assistant Minister Hamden Ahmad and Infrastructure Development and Communication Assistant Minister Lee Kim Shin were among those present at the function.
The Chief Minister said a suitable site would be identified for the track which would be about 3.6 kilometres.
“We need to build a track that can also attract international riders,” he said.
Meanwhile, he said he had requested the minister concerned to promote jet ski racing, adding that the Kuching Waterfront would be a suitable venue.
On the just concluded race which was held for the third time here, Taib said he was glad that it received good response.
He also commended the organisers for holding the competition here for it provided an opportunity and a proper avenue for the young people to race.
KUCHING: Motorcycle racing fans here are in for an exciting weekend when the sixth leg of the Petronas Sprinta AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2008 roars off at the Sarawak Stadium, Petra Jaya last week end.
Social Development and Urbanisation Ministry principal assistant secretary Hamdan Sharbini said yesterday this was the third year running the state would be hosting the event.
“What makes it more interesting this time around is that more Sarawakians will be taking part,” he added.
According to him, 16 local riders, including those from Miri and Sibu, have signed up.
In all, 70 riders will race in the three main categories- Expert, Novis and Wira.
Hamdan pointed out that although the Sprinta was relatively new in the state, it had received good response from the local riders. Six Sarawakians have participated since the first round.
Hamdan said a local rider to watch was 15-year-old Eddy Bryan Who defeated Ahmad Abdul Kadir during a selection race for the Novis category.
Apart from the races, many side events such as motorcycle riding clinics will also be held.
