Sibu ByElection-Nomination Day.

I was in Sibu on 8th May,2010 to witness the nomination day for Sibu byelection.

This good looking uncle at first I thought he is a chief police on duty as I saw many police man standing near him. He wear black T and wanted to be "Arrest Me"

I am wearing BLACK.He is no other then popular blogger

Too many police in Sibu now..Do you know Sibu have extra 2000 police during the election day.Good Job.....

Barisan Nasional..present Government of Malaysia.

The hard core supporters of ruling party Barisan Nasional.

The opposition party...

Sibu, is not a big and well-known town in the context of this country, but recently because of the by-election, almost everyday you can see Sibu on TV! Besides that, all political big names either from ruling parties as well as opposition parties are blooming into this town since the nomination day (8th May). It is predicted that this phenomenon will continue until the pooling day which is scheduled on 16th of May! Therefore if you wish to visit Sibu in this period of time, please be reminded that all hotels, no matter big or small, expensive or cheap, new or old... all had been fully booked!

Housing in Kuching.

Almost 90% still empty...NO BUYER ??.

The gate is closed due no tenants ........

Anyone agree with the below statement ( from the public).

I am dead against anyone buying any properties in Kuching and this is for a variety of reasons.
Among them:-
1. Cos do not justify what you get
2. Kuching have been over built
3. Buyers are enriching the developers and the ruling family
4. Buyers are paying for inefficient and out dated construction technology and via this Sarawak/Kuching contractors take 30-40 percent extra time to built houses and this is translated to hefty labour and holding cost for the developers/contractors and subsequently pass on to buyers
5. Many buyers are buying for investment and hoping that it will appreciate in value and subsequently resell it. The question is how many have actually make money investing in residential houses!!
On the Tribunal, it will take a long time and I suggest DAP start a column blacklisting Property Developers and their Directors instead as have been done by ad-hoc bodies in Semanjung in the Past.
It is a shame that we cry when we discover we are fleeced by this unscrupulous developers when no one is high lighting the present mirco economics of the housing situation in Kuching.

Is it true that Kuching have been over built...now just look at the empty apartment (pic above) still empty since completed about 10 month ago (if I'm not mistaken).

The games of earth breaking ceremony.

Street to kampung Gersik,Boyan and Sourabaya .I'm on my way to this kampung to see the preparation of to-morrow event (election Campange) by our Sarawak BN leader...let the picture that I captured tell the story..................

Kids playing at nearby football field ask me why capture picture of empty parking lot.Is it another concert to be held here again.I still remember during last Sarawak Dewan Undangan Negri(DUN) election.There is a large canopy with stage for concert at this parking lot.Beside concert a n eart breaking ceremonies also held here(See picture below)that is for Rumah Mampu Milik(Medium low cost housing project).This is the promise of YB to Rakyat during party campange.
To-day 06/03/2008 Thursday.The empty land .....project as promise by YB ...become rubbish.

The earth breaking ceremony has become the annual event or tradition during every election .

Old business premise only open at 6pm till late night.

Majlis pecah tanah or earth breaking ceremony in Kuching.
Kampung Gersik,Boyan and Sourabaya folk will have new premise for business as promise by PBB-BN Sarawak to voters.

One my way to UNIMAS Kota Semarahan to fetch my daughter ,the weather is very bad,heavy rain and tunderstorm.Just look at this two guys no matter rain or shine and they still carry on with the job because there are paid with handsome cash.
