Rayani Air.

Rayani Air is a Malaysian start-up that plans to commence operations in Jan-2015 from its hub at Malacca Batu Berendum Airport to the domestic destinations of Penang, Langkawi, Kota Baharu, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu. The 'boutique airline' intends to assist in increasing leisure traffic to Malacca, a state heavily dependant on the tourism industry. Rayani Air then hopes to expand to provide regional services to centres such as Surabaya, Yogyakarta and Medan. The start-up will reportedly receive support from the Malacca State Government in the form of compensation if there is a shortfall in passengers on the airline's services. Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron however ruled out the idea of taking an equity stake in the airline. Rayani Air plans to operate Fokker 50 turboprop equipment.

Recently Rayani Air has 10,000 free ticket to any of their destination to be given away in
Kota Bharu Trade Center .

Rayani Air is the latest local Malaysian airline that will be operating out from the Melaka International Airport (MKZ) somewhere late in Q4 2014. This project which has not much information apart that they already have an official Facebook and Twitter page is quite interesting to see how a new airline is going to enter the now challenging budget airline industry on Malaysia. From reading the Rayani Air Facebook page, we understand that Rayani Airline will fly from Melaka to Kota Baru (Kelantan), Langkawi (Kedah), Penang, Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) and Kuching (Sarawak) but again, no other available information on flight dates, prices and so on.
An inaugural flight for Rayani Air is supposed to take place somewhere in August 2014 too. As for the aircraft Rayani Air is using, it looks like a former MAS Boeing B737-400 plane with seat configuration of a single class with 169 seats. The current ‘Tag Line’ for them is also – Rayani Air – Come Let’s Fly while the contact address for the company is in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
Currently, only this information is obtained while there is much speculation going on about who owns the airlines, is it a joint-venture with an Indonesian businessman, is the former Melaka chief minister involved in this and so on. Therefore, until further information is gathered, we can still continue to speculate but we at Airline News Asia will publish whatever concrete news that makes the mainstream media when it comes out.

My 30 Days Experience With Redmi 1s- Everything You Need To Know About The Phone!!

I Am A Redmi 1s User from Sarawak and here Xiaomi has owned the market with the release of this device and this is very cheap and offering high specs unmatchable by other devices at this range...It is available and  on sales only on one e-commerce site, the phone is getting out of stock withing 5-10minutes.
So here is what I noticed about this phone in 30 Days
Pros of the phone-
1)Camera
2)Look
2)Cost
4)Processor and all
Cons of the phone-
1)Heats up fast
2)Low ram available
3)The capacitive buttons dont have LED Backlight
BATTERY-
I Charge the mobile every morning, spend 1-2 hours online...I Listen to music for sometime, surf the net too....Get calls frequently..Keeps the brightness at max so no steps taken to reduce battery usage...And the battery almost drains out by night..Next day I charge it up again..So overall,on having a full charge and average use,the battery lasts for 1 DAY..
GAMING:
Gaming is good,Modern Combat 4 is a game i played fully on the device, and from the beginning till end,not a single lag...Ya the device surely heats up...
CAMERA :Its just awesome...Pics are all good...
An Awesome fix for some problems:
I Found out that some problems every Redmi user is facing can bet solved easily without any mod or root.

Sontong Tutok.

The cuttlefish is beaten with a hammer to make it soft and tender.

For Malaysian people, Ramadan is the month that has always been awaited on every year. There will be lot of food vendors lined up on every evening along the way. The food that is most often used as Berbuka or breaking the fast menu is of course the dates, syrup and cakes. However, especially for people who live in Sarawak they have their own unique food that becomes an identical of Ramadan, which is called Sotong Tutok (Hammered Cuttlefish). The food is one of the Sarawak typical snacks that are only sold during the fasting month of Ramadan.
However, for those who are not the residents of Sarawak, perhaps the name Sotong Tutok sounds strange and makes you wonder exactly what kind of food is this. Sotong Tutok is the term for dried squid snacks after being burned or grilled. In the process of making, the cuttlefish is beaten with a hammer to make it soft and tender.
The local community even said that fasting without the dish of Sotong Tutok would be tasteless. Therefore, it is not strange that almost on every house of Muslims found Sotong Tutok to make their iftar of suhoor become more complete. The restaurants and food stalls in Kuching city also make this food as one of their menus.

Sontong Tutok can be used as a side dish or snack in leisure times. This food is made of dried cuttlefish. The way of making is also very simple. The dried cuttlefish is grilled over coals or over a flame in small fire to make it not overcooked. At the roasting process, there will be a very seductive scent for anyone around it. Once cooked, the cuttlefish is then hammered on the wood until the meat flat and the fiber out intended to make it soft. If you are interested in hammering your own cuttlefish, the seller will be happy to hand over his hammer to you.

SotongTutok becomes more delicious when equipped with peanut sauce or sweet spicy sauce. Sometimes, there will be vendors who serve it with pickled cucumber. This seafood is a bit salty and savory but when smeared with peanut sauce or spicy sauce, it becomes delicious with a little sour and spicy.
The way to eat is also unique. First, the cuttlefish is dipped into the sauce, and then we absorb until the flavor of the sauce is lessening. After that, it is dipped into the sauce for the second time, and then absorbed again. This is done repeatedly. Afterwards, the cuttlefish is the eaten. Therefore, enjoying one piece of Sotong Tutok could spend a long time. Therefore, for those who claim to seafood lovers do not miss the opportunity to enjoy this Sarawak typical food when visiting into the city.

The Month Of Ramadan and Ramadan Bazaar In Sarawak.

Ramadan is the month for rebuilding our spiritual strength. It falls on the the ninth month of the Muslim year, during which all Muslims must fast during the daylight hours. Indulgence of any sort is forbidden during the fast.
"Anyone who fasts during this month with purity of belief and with expectation of a good reward (from his Creator), will have his previous sins forgiven," said Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam. "Anyone who stands in prayers during its nights with purity of belief and expectation of a reward, will have his previous sins forgiven." The rewards for good deeds are multiplied manifold during Ramadan.
In Malaysia, the Ramadhan month is observed within the muslim communities. Food Bazaars are becoming increasingly popular. Usually, the open air temporary stalls are set up in designated places. Sometimes, streets are closed for the duration of the bazaar hours which is from 4.30pm until 7.45pm. Many leaving work in the evenings will buy food home from these bazaars to break fast with their families.
Bazaar Ramadan in Desa Ilmu ,Kota Samarahan.
I hope every Muslim have a Blessed Ramadan,
RAMADAN KAREEM !! (noble or generous Ramadan).

The Plane ! The Plane !

The messages of hope and support are still being written and officials are still taking care with their words. But almost three weeks after flight MH370 disappeared, leaving just the faintest digital trace, Malaysia is being increasingly forced to confront the dark prospect that it is likely there will be no happy ending. The plane may never be found; there may be no bodies to bury.
However, some relatives of those on board the plane ~ missing now for more than three weeks ~ continue to hope against hope.
Pray for MH370....
Well..let me talk about my hobby"The AirPlane Spotter" of course its nothing to do with disappear of Boeing777-200 belong to MAS. My friends often ask me what pleasure do I get from airplane spotting, the answer is this photograph.

Did you guys notice something from the airplane wings of the two photos above.
Its Wing tip vortices (yes it is spelled vortices, not vortexes). These vortices can be seen in cool wet weather on aircraft taking off or landing, and are referenced as “wing tornadoes” by many people. What is often not said, is just how these “wing tornadoes” are formed, how they have shaped safety policy and aircraft categorization, as well as some of the hazards they can create.
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wingtip_vortices
Most of the airplane photos in my blog are shoot with semi pro level DSLR ( Olympus E-620) and for plane spotting I normally use Zuiko Lens 70-300mm f 4.5 . Don't worry all the gear I mention here is not a PRO level camera as I'm not a PRO myself...Aviation Photography is my weekend hobby.

Aviation photography is one of the more challenging genres you can shoot as a photographer: fast-moving subjects, bright backgrounds.Aviation photography can be great fun, but if you want to capture exciting pictures of airplanes against interesting backgrounds rather than plain skies you need to shoot them during take-off or landing.Read More here .
And more AirPlane photo from me  AWANG AVIATION PHOTOGRAPHY.
Thank You.

Very Inattentive To My Blog of Late.Pray For MH370.

I realize that I have been very inattentive to my blog of late.  So much has been going on - at work - otherwise - but - the planes have not stopped - and - I haven't stopped photographing them.  I need to get more posted. but - in the last week or so - there have been  very interesting as I found a new spotting site.
Here is few photos of plane that I spotted as I have said all we can spotted in KCH/WBGG (Kuching International Airport) are air plane of carrier such as Maindo Air,AirAsia and MAS.

Of course, this weekend has also seen the tragedy that is Malaysian flight MH370.  As of writing this blog entry, the wreckage has not been found and there is so much speculation on what has happened.  I am not going to speculate - to me, speculation breeds rumors and we don't need those.  Until the wreckage is found and the black boxes located, we will never know what happened.  I will reserve all judgements until those two things have happened.......

In the meantime though, more time spent behind the camera lens......and  lets us Pray For MH370.
