My World Tuesday-Bako National Park.

mwtblack

More tour to other part of the World

HERE

May be one day you visit Sarawak & one place that you must put on your trip list is Bako National Park.

The journey to the Bako National Park starts with a half hour boat ride from Kampung Bako, picture below.

Bakko

Lying 37 kilometres northeast of Kuching City is Bako, Sarawak's oldest national park. Often underestimated by travellers, this is actually one of Asia's most perfect nature parks with a wild shoreline of mangrove swamp and a hinterland of kerangas bush bustling with proboscis monkeys and birdlife.
The journey to the national park starts with a half hour boat ride from Kampung Bako, a picturesque fishing village some 45 minutes by road from Kuching, to the park's headquarters at Telok Assam. Along the way, you will see numerous wooden houses on stilts from riverside villages and fishermen tending to their fish traps. On a clear day, you may even catch a glimpse of the majestic Mount Santubong on the distant horizon.

ABC Wednesday letter R- Rice.

round5ABC

More letter R click HERE

rice

The new Malaysian culture one need to have coupon to buy Rice...isn't it funny ? The new government rule on 1 December 2009 in Malaysia.

Letter R is for RICE.

Rice is always taken for granted as rice is our Malaysian staple food.Rice is also responsible for our unhealthy state-obesity and diabetes to name a few.Rice appears to be one commondity  that you can eat everyday without getting tired or bored of it.WHY IS THAT ?.

What it implies is that is Malaysian cannot live without rice for long.It is already in our blood ,sort of culture or tradition.Of course, for some health conscious people, they can break out of this rice dependent mentality as they have reason to avoid rice.

There are probably lots of people out there, who wonder if they could ever find happiness riding vintage bicycle. In Kuching is not a country, like for example China where people ride bicycle.Kuching small city, there's little space for bicycle to go around. Many drivers find it weird you ride a bicycle. In many people's eyes,it's too hot,too dangerous and too crazy to cycle around.
