Have you ever been to SIBU?.

P4110154

View of Sanyan building(the tallest) from the river bank of Rajang river.

When I go to Sibu, like most other visitors would think of the Sanyan building, which is the tallest and great building in Sibu and are just beautiful.

However I saw some real poverty along river bank of Rajang river.

And I realised that this is like for many local Sarawakian or Sarawak Malaysian.

Well, this is what people say The Rich become Richer & The Poor become Poorer.

I'm not a citizen photojournalist but taking picture is my priority .Maybe my photo will tell the stories to all those who are blind because they are not present ,capturing the message.

It is sad that on this beautiful planet that poverty is so widespread when there is great wealth. Thank you for sharing.

Poverty is everywhere and it's so difficult to eradicate it. Hopefully the next generation are not deprived of education , at least the poverty cycle in the family will not be repeated when the next generation get good jobs to support the family
The house look almost certain to give way soon!

The colours in that first photo are absolutely stunning - I love it!

The house looks as if it's going to fall into the river very soon .. poor people. :(

There should be more done for the poor people, surprisingly someone from Sarawak owns the 2nd most expensive property in Canada.
