The view of Malay/Melanau kampung in Sibu.
My ABC-Wednesday letter 'M' is for Malay/Melanau.
Melanau is the earliest inhabitants in Sibu,Sarawak and staying at the Melanau long house at Kampung Nangka before 1953.The second ethnic group to settle in Sibu is Malay community,they settled at along banks of the Rajang river and Igan river at Kampung Datu,Kampung Hilir and Kampung Nangka.

Interesting to read about Melanau and Malay. It seems tha Melanau (peiple of the river) has not been able to keep their culture identy very well and been melted into the Malay community.
We got lots of malay here but no kampung!
i believe malayasians are really good in badminton.
