The two gentlemans here is an employee of the City Council to collect the floating rubbish in the Sarawak River.
Please do not throw rubbish into the rivers,our river is beautiful,it is our pride and it is our duty to keep it clean.
Look at the blue sky beautiful isn't it..!!!but look at the river,to be honest Sarawak River has nothing to brag about.The river is not that huge and the water cleanliness has always been an issue.You can see the two council workers trying their very best to keep the river free from rubbish.

It's really a shame when people thrown trash in rivers and streams. Glad somebody is cleaning it up, though.
Keeping rivers clean is a big problem here, too! Bits and pieces always find their way in .. either washed in, fallen in or thrown in. Such a shame.
That would be a very difficult job.
Save our river, save our environment!
saving river is not something 2 council servant can do something about. heck, it is not even something that the whole ministry can do something about. It is a matter of gotong-royong by all of us not to only clean it all up right, but also not to pollute it anymore with all the rubbish.

The sky IS beautiful. I'm not sure what makes people litter. Don't understand it, but it seems all we can do is clean up after them.

That's the problem that we face in SARAWAK. and that cause the flood too!!

You are right. The river is so important! Why do people all over the world throw rubbish in our rivers and also in the oceans. In Egypt we saw in one day three dead cows in the Nile. The river is important for life.
Keep the river as clean as the sky!
That looks like very hard work.
Sad to see the river so polluted. Our rivers looked clean but that is becourse we have workers cleaning them daily and a fine if anyone caught throwing rubbish into it.
