I am so excited to go for a adventure and jungle trekking to Kampung Semban and this is all paid trip hosted by Sarawak Tourism Board,Thank You STB and Thanks also to our Sarawak Bloggers Community founder & admin
CYRILDASON.COM.To reach Kampung Semban at 1000 feet above sea level, one takes a six-hours’ trek through jungle trails passing bamboo groves, paddy fields, pepper vines, rubber trees, durian orchards and umpteen bamboo bridges, say LinaSoo ..to read about her journey just log on to her blog
A six-hours’ trek through jungle trails ..am I ready for the task ?...I hope so. What I do now is to do my physical exercises so that I am fit to go on that six-hours trek....
I know to go to Kampung Semban trail is not as what you see in the photos here...What you see here is the Sama Jaya Nature Reserve, near Tabuan Jaya in Kuching.Entrance is RM0.50 per person. It's quite a nice place to exercise.
There were jogging tracks through the forest. It was a novelty for me to exercise amidst the forest setting and the trees provided shade.Yesterday ,the trail which I took was 1.6 km long, which took me about 10 minutes to complete. There was another shorter trail which was 1 km in length. The short trail was quite slippery yesterday after a downpour.
The Samajaya Forest Park is a mini-forest reserve at Tabuan Jaya - a large residential neighbourhood in Kuching. Covering an area of 18 hectares, the Park is very popular for jogging and other recreational activities.

See you guy around at Kuching Waterfront this coming Sunday 21st November 2010.Rain or shine I will be there.
Taking LRT at rush hour is no fun at all. You are being squeezed like sardines, male and female alike, in a coach which smells of stale air. It is in fact downright unhygienic since if someone with flu sneezes in the coach, most of the passengers in that coach would probably be infected with the same virus. It is also very scary especially to the ladies, since even if you feel someone else is groping you, you can’t even move to avoid and fence off the move.

This is Nasi Ayam Penyet. It's an Indonesian dish or Indonesia origin cuisine. It is very popular among our West Malaysian friends who visited Kuching and the word is 'Must Try'.
For me basically, its just a white rice with chicken but the spiciness of the sauce or sambal in malay that taste the difference. The food didn't sound delicious to me(especially at this golden age )..you know what i mean don't you ? hahaha..I love vegetable & fruits.Anyway, do drop by and try for yourself ..don't be surprise you will say ' I love the sambal (the sauce) '.By the way you also can view my daughter blog about this 'Ayam Penyet' click HERE

PISANG literally meaning BANANAS in MALAY or in MALAYSIA.
PISANG is healthy fruits.
Pisang contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A Pisang gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two pisang/ bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the pisang/ banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.
So what do you think of his phrase:)
"PISANG or BANANA a day keeps the Doctor away".
Kenyalang Steps’ Sarawak has developed its own version of the ever popular Indonesian line dance, the Poco Poco.
‘Kenyalang Steps’ was developed by the Sarawak Physical Education and Recreation Association.
“The Poco Poco line dance originating from the Minhasa people of Sulawesi has been a very popular group exercise among the people in the state since its introduction about two years ago.
Originates from Indonesia. So Sarawak want to have something which is truly Sarawakian in nature and which can be enjoyed by every race in the state.
The Kenyalang Steps incorporated steps from popular dances of the state’s various ethnic communities performed to a similar fusion of tunes.
“Thus, we will have the Orang Ulu Sape (lute) music to be complemented by the ‘Taboh’ (traditional music) of the Ibans, the Bidayuh, Melanau and the Chinese drum beat for instance.
Picture below show a group of ladies perform kenyalang steps (poco-poco Sarawak version)
.
I check you tube and found videos of Poco-Poco dance.(Indonesia Version)
