How Plain Pictures Can Have Big Messages.
Only some of this collection of photos are what might be considered “good” from a photographic point of view. There are problems with color, composition, lighting and a host of other things. Yet, they are all united by the fact that they convey a clear message. How we perceive that message is often up to the individual, but we think these plain photos show how much power a photographer can potentially have in bringing attention to a situation or cause by careful selection of subject matter. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then these photos are batting above their average.
