This place is built to remember a group of Japanese fallen soldiers who invaded Sarawak during WWII.Some say to remember a Japanese fisherman staying in Kuching who fought during world war. It's good to know local history and place and just for info this cemetery is located just behind the telecom office in Batu Lintang.

You too? Not very many places in Asia seem to have escaped Japanese invasion during WWII. Looks like a very peaceful cemetery now.

It's def. a good thing to know local history and learn more by walking around and visiting places!
That looks like a lovely, even though sad place to do exactly that.

A peaceful place but it also make me feel sad. Let's learn from the past so that unfavourable history will not repeated.
