Most of the shop houses here was built in the 40's & 50's.In spite of new development of new township or modern shop houses nearby peoples still prefer to go to this old part of Kuching City.
'I'm not moving' say the vendors here.'I have my own royal customers' &'I have been doing my legal business here for the past 50 years.
My sweet or bitter memory are all here.

It looks as though it hasn't changed in fifty years. No wonder no-one wants to move away - it's home!
It does have a very timeless feel.
Wonderful pictures in black and white, or maybee gray..., looks so poor and souts this colour so well.
After all these picture "take me2 in another way to..., makes me think of the way we are living...SO!!! many things!!!! we event can brig with ous to heaven...

I think the old parts of cities are usually more interesting and that is why people continue to go them.
