This week I am going to guide you to Pasar Sarikin that is about 45 minutes drive from the City.
This is border market of Malaysia(Sarawak) and Indonesia (Kalimantan Barat).Open only Saturday and Sunday.
This is one of many traders that caught my eye.He come from Kalimatan Barat,Indonesia and open his stall as early as 07:00am at pasar Sarikin the border market. Now he is demostrate his menchandise to me ..very creative indeed.
Soft toy such as Teddy Bear is cheap here and just look at the photo above the seller are waiting for his customer to load the menchandise into the car .
Another item that really caught my eyes is Sandal made from the horse skin. You can't get this item in Kuching City .
To be a customer at this pasar Sarikin you must have a bargaining skill .
This gemstone seller have many legendary story to tale.He have been selling the gemstone for many years."I sale original menchandise and that is why customer always come back to me and only expert can sale this many type of gemstone"he say.
Varietis of crispy chip such as bananna chip are widely sold .Well, its worth trying better than that sell in hypermarket.
Mood of transport (photo above)this is common scenario here. With just few Ringgit from your pocket they are so happy to transport your things to your car as parking lot is quite a distance from the stalls.
This place is worth to visit and you don't have to spend much as the goods here is much, much cheaper than in the city or you can't even found the goods that sold here in the city.

Now, that's my type of place to visit. There's the outdoors, there's shopping, and there's eating, right?

See you next week.

Assalamu'alikum

Menarik.
