Since I'm from Malaysia let me introduce you with our Malaysian Icon breakfast menu.
#1,Nasi Lemak
#2.Roti Canai with Teh Tarik
For Kuching Local they prefer Mi Kolok,Mi Sapi and Mi Jawa with Satay and the most popular is Laksa Sarawak.
Mi (noodles in Malay Language)
The above photo show food stall vendors are preparing breakfast to the customer.They open from 06:00am to 11:00am.
My mom say Breakfast is the most important meal of the day..so here I'm enjoying my nasi lemak with fried chicken.

Budak tu..seronok makan, Bom meletup baru lah dia sedar.Kan fried chicken punya pasal.
